Successful cooperation to simplify project follow-up with customers in C7 Projects
We recently concluded a successful project with NCC where together we created a solution to simplify quality reporting from the field to the end customer.
– We have to keep a project journal to comply with the legal contracts we have with our customers. By standardizing this process, we facilitate and streamline the workflow, and by digitizing the process we increase data quality. It is better for our customers, and it is better for us, said Tobias Pettersson, Head of Department Asphalt South, and head of the project’s steering group.
One less step in the work process
The reporting process was partly manual and relied on pen and paper.
– The new functionality means that we can remove one step in the work process. Today, we do the reporting twice: first directly in the system on site, and then we add information that is usually written on paper. This means that we spend an unnecessary amount of time on administration. In addition, we risk entering incorrect data with manual handling, said Anneli Trygg, acting Business Support Manager, NCC Industry.
With the new functionality in C7 Projects, it is possible to report all follow-up in one place. In addition, reporting will be more standardized. This is a minor change that will reduce risk, increase control, and potentially lead to large cost savings.
– Our mission is to simplify our customers’ working day. We are very satisfied with the cooperation with NCC, and that this new functionality will have a real impact, said Olof Arnell, C7 Manager.
The functionality will be available in C7 Projects for all customers in Q4 2024.
Brani Asphalt chooses Triona’s project management solution
In order to streamline their work processes, Brani Asphalt carried out a digitalization project where they evaluated in-house and external products as well as manual processes.
An important goal in the selection process was to ensure good management, control, profitability, and a reduced environmental impact. The project resulted in the organization choosing Triona’s product C7 Projects.
Brani Asfalt AS provides asphalt services to both private and public-sector customers in the whole of eastern Norway. Examples of private company customers are large contractors, construction companies, and builders. Public sector customers include the Norwegian Public Roads administration (Statens vegvesen), Viken municipality and a number of other municipalities in the eastern part of Norway that have contracts for asphalting of A and B roads and town squares. Brani Asphalt has four asphalting teams working across all of their customers and assignments.
C7 Projects as a solution for Brani Asphalt
Trionas C7 Projects will help Brani Asphalt have full control of its asphalting projects. This is achieved with the help of tools such as bid calculations, reporting from the field work teams, daily follow up for project managers and integrations with business systems to give the finance department a better overview.
C7 Projects will replace a number of spreadsheets and systems which Brani Asphalt have relied on up to now. All in all, this gives Brani Asphalt a good control over the whole asphalting process from first quote to final invoice.
“We have chosen Triona’s C7 Projects to ensure good management, control, and increased profitability. The solutions will also make a positive contribution to our work in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. “ Ole Storevik, CEO Brani Asfalt AS

Terranor’s successful implementation of C7 Projects
Terranor A/S is one of the leading players in the operation and maintenance of roads in Denmark. In 2021-22 they successfully implemented and started to use C7 Projects from Triona.
When Terranor in 2021 planned the cut off from the former owner NCC they faced a big challenge as they used a variety of different systems from many suppliers. Terranor wanted to minimize the number of systems and suppliers and therefore contacted Triona.
Triona is a supplier with a wide range of asphalt business knowledge and experience from over 30 years of system development for infrastructure companies. When Triona presented their product C7 Projects to Terranor, they saw a system very suitable for their business and an opportunity to reduce the number of systems they used from 25 to 4. Terranor chose Triona's offer as being the best solution on the market.
Terranor asked Triona to take responsibility for and coordinate the entire implementation project with the new suppliers of ERP, HR and payroll systems. The project was ongoing for seven months and ended up a mutual success. Since May 2022 C7 Projects is an essential part of Terranor’s everyday work. Both Terranor and their owner Mutares are very satisfied with Triona's project delivery on time and budget.
Quote from Moritz Bayerdörffer, Associate Director Operations / IT at Mutares SE & Co. KGaA:
“The collaboration with Triona to implement C7 was excellent – the project was tailored to our needs and pragmatic solutions were found when needed. The communication and collaboration were clear, transparent, and professional at all times and we stayed within the agreed timeline and budget. Overall, for us it was a highly successful project, and we would always recommend Triona as a partner!”
Terranor uses C7 Projects to have full control over their projects. This includes calculations, tenders, planning of work orders, registration of work performed, management of changes & additions, invoicing, and follow-up. C7 facilitates the staff, from those working in the field to the CEO, with relevant information. With C7 Projects and the integrations to Terranor’s ERP, HR, and payroll systems, Terranor has increased their efficiency, gained better control, and significantly reduced their IT maintenance costs.
Quote from Ivan Pedersen, CEO at Terranor A/S:
“The good cooperation with Triona during the implementation has continued after we went live early May, in the form of help with minor adjustments and new minor requests from our production. The help and support from Triona have been very satisfactory and C7 Projects has fully lived up to our expectations.”
Munck Asfalt chooses C7 Projects
C7 Projects was put into operation at Munck Asfalt A/S in December 2021 and then replaced Munck's tailor-made solution for calculating and managing projects. C7 Projects supports the entire project process, thereby streamlining administration and saving time. C7 Projects gives full control over every project, from quotation to invoice.
"We think that C7 Projects is simple and intuitive, and it gives us better control over the projects, including time, budget and staffing" says Claus Storm Andersen, business unit manager at Munck Asfalt.
C7 Projects can easily be integrated with other systems to, for example, import financial data from the financial system and export time worked to the payroll system.
"We are pleased with the collaboration with Munck, one of the leading companies in the Danish asphalt industry. C7 Projects is a well-established project management tool in the asphalt and road service, construction, energy and railway industry. We are convinced that our system adds real value in Muncks daily operations", says Ted Lundström, responsible for C7 Projects at Triona.
